EFFECTIVE THERMOELASTIC BEHAVIOR OF COMPOSITES
WITH GIVEN ORIENTATION DISTRIBUTION OF INCLUSIONS

Abstract - The effective thermoelastic properties of composites reinforced by fibers or platelets, which may depend strongly on the orientation distribution of the inclusions, are calculated by a Mori--Tanaka-type approach involving the use of prescribed orientation distribution functions.
